Our first restaurant experience during Covid, and it did not disappoint. Mauro and his staff have taken every precaution to ensure you have a safe dining out experience. The renovations are beautiful and the food remains one of the best Italian you can find in town. This place feels like home to us every time we go.

From salads, warm breads to entrees, it is obvious that a lot of attention is paid to details.and flavors. Yum.

Very tasty food.

Went with 4 couples we were eight nice square table. The waiters and ladies serving us were professional and felt like we were at home. Food was amazing !

Each time we visit from Florida and Las Vegas, we are fortunate to dine at one of Montreal's best authentic Italian restaurants. Exceptional service, and fresh quality food. Great vegetarian and children friendly options. Perfect pre show menu and timing prior to attending an event at the Bell Centre. Absolutely a CLASS ACT operation!

The best Chicken & Veal Parm you can find in Montreal. Everything comes with a side pasta and everything is made fresh to order. This was our first time in a restaurant during Covid and it was a pleasure to see how clean and prepared this restaurant is. The plexiglass dividers are set up well and don’t interfere too much with the classy vibe of the restaurant. The servers are all wearing proper protective gear and everyone keeps their distance. If you're nervous about going out, this is one the places you should put on your list as safe and clean and without a question some of the best Italian food you’ll find in Montreal. 5 Star experience through and through

Tourist trap. Everything was very pedestrian. Salty, store bought, make way way better myself at home. Way overpriced for Kraft cheese and sauce. There are so many better Italian restaurants near by.

Great Italian food and service

This restaurant is outstanding. The service is perfect, and the bruschetta are amazing. I haven’t even been served my entree yet, and I’m already writing a review. That’s how confident I am that this experience will end as well as it begins.

Went there with family of 6people with 2 teenagers. Staff and ambiance was fantastic. We do not understand French and they took time to explain menu . Food was amazing and service was 5 star... If you have not tried this little gem Italian restaurant you are missing a real great experience. Thank you to for hosting my family like we were part of yours.

Absolutely amazing! Some of the best Italian cuisine we've ever had. The Lasgna and fettuccine Alfredo were both phenomenal, albeit extremely rich. The wait staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu and wine selections. The bill was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and portion sizes. The atmosphere is very cozy and hearing the Italian wait staff and cooks singing in the kitchen added to the experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality meal and a fun dining experience.

Over priced mediocre food with $12 bottled wine they resell for $40+. Final bill for 2 people was $150. Their are far better places to eat in Montreal.

Delightful experience. Food was simple and excellent. Pricey but worth it. Waiter was a gentleman. We shared a glass of wine together. (actually, took it in the back but we clicked glasses and said 'salute') My wife and I would definitely come back again.

I went with my family twice to have dinner. The food and the service was very good. Unfortunately, we were seat in the round table next to the kitchen, and all of us saw a little mice. We didn't want to create an scandal so we gently told to the waiters what we saw. They also saw it and instead of doing anything at all they started making fun of it. At the end, it was a horrible experience.

The prices are okay, 20$ is the average price for a plate. Drinks and stuff are obviously more expensive. I had maniccotti or whatever they call it. 4 stars just because i wasn't offered parmesan and the guy was too far, he only came when i had already finished my plate.

Restaurant Trattoria Trestevere has a traditional pleasant Italian atmosphere, which was a haven in the core of Montreal. During our entire stay, we got excellent service from the waiter, who made sure to do his very best to make our stay as personal and special as possible. Beside the excellent service, the food was marvelous with a perfect balance of the ingredients. The veal (calf meat) is highly recommend. Overall, they provide an extremely high Italian quality. Verdict: Highly recommended for an extraordinary experience.

I rarely write a 5 star review but this place deserves it. Food is freshly prepared ...great Caesar and caprese salads, fresh pastas and great bread. Service was very good ...., attentive but not overly invasive. We were the only people in the restaurant which doesn’t speak to the quality of the food. I’d definitely return!!!!

My favourite little Italian restaurant in Montreal. I love the food. It it tastes very authentic and I feel like I'm eating in some little old Italian lady's kitchen. Prices are reasonable, especially for such a nice little place Portions are appropriate. Even for a big eater like me.February 4, 2019Here I am again 1 year later.Tonight I had pennine amatriciana with extra sauce on the side.It's not on the menu, but I was in the mood for grilled Italian sausage on the side, and the Chef was happy to oblige. My dinner was so delicious that I actually tried to eat it slowly. Impossible!The homemade pepperoncini picante you see in the photo is an excellent addition if you like it a little spicy. You don't see Casata Siciliana on too many dessert menus and it was a real treat. I'm raising my rating to 5 stars.

Tried this place for first time with my wife and some friends. Authentic Italian food in a relaxed ambiance, we tried lamb shank, osso buco, veal parmigiana and pasta, all was Delicious! and to finish it all we had for desert 4 plates (we had to order twice) of amazing fired gnocchi&Nutella to die for!We will be coming back soon.

On slower nights, this place is awesome. On busier nights, service will be a bit slower. Food is always on point though.

I was here 2 years ago for a private wine tasting. The food was good paired with Italian wine from a private reserve.

I’ve been to the restaurant with my girlfriend and we really liked the food, the place and the staff specially the manager and the waitresses.Everybody’s really warm and polite. There’s also a beautiful terrace where you can sit and enjoy the sunshine or the night breeze in Montreal while being served a delicious Italian meal!

Excellent service and some of the best sauces you will ever have. Cozy and friendly atmosphere.

Best Italian food. I'm gluten sensitive and I had Arabiata, normally with food sensitivity you don't have many options choosing pasta. The only con is I wish they have more choices with gluten-free pasta. We were six people each had different pasta choices and among us, we had a new chef, which approved the food. Everyone loved their food. They are very friendly and welcoming.

Me my wife and 2 boys came to eat here and we were greeted very well! The food was fantastic. No other words but deliscious. Will definitely return to this great Italian restaurant. 2 thumbs up 👍

What used to be good service and reasonable price has turned into expensive meals and poor service. The waiter selected the tip option to be percentage of bill and handed over machine showing 15% and above which was not in line with the long wait, bad attitude and poor service. Place is falling down and needs urgent renovation, rather go anywhere else and eat cheaper. Avoid and fast if you have to.

The food is good and pretty good serving as well

I've had the opportunity to dine at this place for some of the most important events of my life, with the most important people in my life. I loved the waiters, they were not young students or people who are doing a summer job, they were authentic and very welcoming. That olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the table, the lovely Italian background music, the small appetizer offered by the restaurant...all and all has carved a very nice memory in my head. I totally recommend it!
